(top picture)TIMBER BEASTS MASCOT AND SHOOTER enjoying some free time. Smiling faces going to INTERNATIONAL BB GUN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH. INTERNATIONAL BB GUN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH 2008 The trip to Kentucky was un eventful( thank goodness) haveing to switch planes 3 times. Had Thunder showers(one down poure) the first couple days, then it cleared off and was HOT and HUMID. After the first day of compitition and three scores (Prone-Standing-test) under our belt, had the team in 4th place out of 33 teams. Sundays compititon was especially exciting for our only girl shooter (alternate) scoring an overall score of 467, placing her about 4th outof 66 shooters. Do to reasons unknown the final placement for our team was 8th out of 33 teams. Achieving to goals set for them ,one being to shoot a competive Standing score (which they did). The other was for the 5 person team to average a 460 score which they did. Top three teams averaging 480 and highter. Coaches and help are taking a brake till November at which time will start a new season with new shooters interested in the program. (GOOD JOB 2008 TIMBER BEASTS TEAVEL TEAM)

Coaching the firing line
unlike other shooting competion where the coach can not be on the firing line ,(coach Howard Baker) trys to physically and mentally prepare the shooter to compete.
