The first one hundread
posted for the 2009 season was done by Chantel Obrist in the prone position. Missing another 100 in the same night by 1 point.
Two 100's in one night would have been a club record. Good shooting Chantel.

20 Years and Counting All of the coaches at the Daisy National BB Gun Championship Match
are volunteers, but Howard Baker of the Oregon Timber Beasts BB Gun Shooting Team formForest Grove, Ore., is among
the top at teaching the sport. Baker has led his Oregonianteams to the national match 20 straight years. To
bring a team to the natioals that many times is amazing and something specail, "Daisy president and CEO Ray
Hobbs said. Baker, who hs recently celebrated his 28th anniversary of his 39th birthday, " learned how
to by starting with a Daisy model 29 pump action BB gun. I used a Daisy when I was a kid, and back then there wasn't
any formal shooting education or hunter's ed," he said. "Dad or grandpa gave you a gun and told you not
to hurt yourself. Fortunately, I was smart enough to learn the proper way of handling it by using a BB gun. I learned
to do it safely and as I grew older it came natural to me.Traveling 2,500 miles across the country to Rogers, Baker says
this year's team-will shoot the best that they can.

"SHOOTERS DOING BB PICKUP" BB's are picked up after each practice . They are reused 4 or 5 practices. Besides saving money on BB's
it is a good time killer, giving the statistical people a little extra time to compile scores.
